Pinot Grigio Bastianich is a wine of great ductility and elegance, which bears witness to the deep bond between the well-known family and the Friuli area, including its native vines. A history that has deep roots, closely influenced by a strong passion for wine and the growth of the region as regards the production of quality bottles. A journey to rediscover their origins, which led the Bastianichs, now resident in America, to plant the first vineyards in Buttrio and Cividale del Friuli. The goal was immediately to give life to liquids linked to their place of origin, but which at the same time were able to stand out for body, persuasion and structure and judging by the success of the company, expectations are not only been achieved, but even largely exceeded.

Process: The Pinot Grigio wine from the Bastianich winery comes from Pinot Grigio grapes in purity from vineyards from the Cividale area, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The vines, aged between 5 and 25 years, rest on marly calcareous soils, with medium density guyot systems. The harvest takes place manually, so as to allow a careful selection of the best grapes first in the vineyard and then in the cellar. Thanks to the help of modern and avant-garde machinery, all the processes, from the vinification to the refinement that take place in steel, are perfectly managed and controlled. A further six-month aging on the fine lees gives greater complexity and richness to the liquid, which is then ready to be marketed.

Characteristics: Bastianich's white Pinot Grigio presents itself in a straw-colored yellow robe. The nose is immediately a succession of sensations linked to crunchy fresh fruit, such as golden apple and pear, which alternate with hints of white flowers among which linden and jasmine stand out. The sip is beautiful, full but at the same time extremely flowing, alternating the initial softness with a very refined salinity that emerges in the finish. It conquers for its almost boundless versatility.

Pairings: Excellent as an aperitif, it goes splendidly with purées, soups and salads. Excellent with a plate of vegetable couscous.

SIZE / WEIGHT: 0,75 l bottles.

ORIGIN: Friuli Venezia Giulia.

GRAPES: 100% Pinot Grigio.

ALCOHOL: 13% vol.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: Temperature between 4/8°.

STORAGE METHOD: in a cool place away from sunlight.

SPECIFIC NOTES: Contains sulphites.

PRODUCER: Bastianich Winery - Cividale del Friuli (UD).

Bastianich Winery

The wine we drink has an intense history, it is part of a tradition with very deep roots and often travels the whole world to arrive on our table.
Produced from the vinification of the ancient vine, much appreciated by the Samnites, who considered it among the best of their winemaking tradition. It derives from Falanghina grapes vinified pure at 100% and the production area is the one called Ramitello with a maximum altitude of 100 meters above sea level. The type of soil is mainly clayey. The vineyard is trained using the espalier method and the average age of the vines is 15 years.

Method: The harvest takes place in the second half of September or at the latest the first ten days of October. The vinification follows the traditional method with the maceration of the must in contact with the skins for about 12 hours. The malolactic fermentation is not carried out.

Characteristics: Golden straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Fresh, pleasant bouquet with hints of broom. Broad taste with a pleasant bitter aftertaste reminiscent of pomegranate.

Pairings: the Falanghina del Molise DOC white wine is considered a white wine for the whole meal, it goes well with shellfish, light hors d'oeuvres, first courses dishes and in particular fish dishes. It goes well with traditional Mediterranean dishes, rich in herbaceous flavors and light creams.

SIZE / WEIGHT: Bottles of 0, 75L.

ORIGIN: Molise.

GRAPES: 100% Falanghina.

ALCOHOL: 13.5% vol.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: Temperature between 8/10°C.

STORAGE METHOD: in a cool place away from sunlight.

SPECIFIC NOTES: Contains sulphites.

PRODUCER: Di majo norante - Campomarino CB.

Di Majo Norante

Di Majo Norante has been producing wines from its own grapes since 1800, as evidenced by the cellars under the square and in the old family palace in Campomarino. The dedication to the cultivation of the vine is inherited from Alessio di Majo Norante and is planned today together with the passion for research and experimentation. Di Majo Norante produces its wines exclusively from the 123 hectares of the ancient feud of the Marquises Norante of Santa Cristina. The oenological philosophy of the Di Majo Norante company respects the traditional approach to the cultivation of the vine and the production of wine, in an attempt to preserve all the characteristics of the Mediterranean grapes. In Molise, wine has a tradition that dates back to the Samnites and the Romans, who introduced the cultivation of the vine. The production methods are those handed down from one generation to another in the southern Apennines, always linked to the values of the peasant world. The Masseria di Majo Norante is located north of the Gargano, in the Ramitelli district, in the countryside of Campomarino, where the clayey, partly sandy soil and the summer breeze combine to create a particularly favorable habitat. Alessio di Majo Norante, a stubborn and counter-current winemaker, sacrificed productivity and standardization of taste to the constant pursuit of quality and typicality, in the belief that southern vines are more suited to the soil and climatic conditions of the Molise countryside.

He is a pioneer: he is the first to understand the extraordinary vocation of his land, he is the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy. He begins to produce a few highly selected bottles, with an obsessive cult of quality. Having no children, Giulio Ferrari looks for a successor to whom to entrust his dream. Among the many suitors he chooses Bruno Lunelli, owner of a wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno Lunelli manages to increase production without ever compromising on quality. Bruno Lunelli passes on his passion to his children: under the guidance of Franco, Gino and Mauro, Ferrari becomes the leader in Italy and the Italian toast par excellence. In these years some of the labels destined to make history see the light: they are the Ferrari Rosé, the Ferrari Perlé and the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore. The third generation of the Lunelli family keeps the Ferrari dream alive. Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro lead the company together with an extraordinary team with the aim of innovating in the wake of tradition, bringing Ferrari to the world as ambassador of the Italian Art of Living.

OUDEIS comes from the Greek "Odysseus" and means nobody. In fact, no one is at the origin of the complexity of the wine; only the terroir has this paternity. Enrico Serafino wants to remember him starting with the name of his classic method. This wine is the result of the complexity of the Alta Langa terroir and the long fermentation on the lees, while remaining complex and easily enjoyable at the same time. OUDEIS BRUT: the Alta Langa as an emotion.

The bunches of grapes are selected by hand on a vibrating table and pressed in an inert environment (nitrogen) with a free-run juice yield of 55%.
