<p>Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Emidio Pepe is a unique and exciting red wine. Undoubtedly the vine of Emidio's heart who worked hard for its re-evaluation and rediscovery. A dance of berries, spices and balsamic nuances for a fleshy, dry and full-bodied wine, capable of combining a certain rustic vigor with velvety tannins. <em>Persistent, deep and mineral</em>, with astounding aging potential. Terroir wine, a thick product made following the production philosophy of the <strong>Triple A</strong> association. The result is a label made with the artisanal methods of the past, using only and exclusively indigenous yeasts, without the use of chemistry and with the utmost respect for the ancient Abruzzo winemaking tradition. Result of the vinification of pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, this biodynamic wine well describes the territory of origin.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Method:</strong> at one strictly hand harvested, followed by careful destemming of the selected bunches and spontaneous fermentation in vitrified cement tanks, after which the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is left to mature in the same tanks for 24 months. After which it is bottled by hand without any filtration. Subsequently it is left to refine still in the bottle and, before being placed on the market, it is manually decanted from one bottle to another. The result is an elegant, soft, persistent and well-structured wine, an excellent red drunk now and more than surprising if left to mature in the cellar for several years.</li> <li><strong>Advice:</strong> It is a medium-structured wine that does not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance its bouquet. A slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended to help concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. <p>The Trebbiano d'Abruzzo BIO Triple "A" DOC "Emidio Pepe" is a wine with a bright and slightly veiled straw yellow <strong>color</strong>, the <strong>aroma</strong> contains notes of fruit ripe whites, with dried fruit, sunflowers and clay, its <strong>taste</strong> is sapid and full in the mouth, with a pleasantly imprecise drink.
