Champagne Grand Vintage Rosè 2012 Moet & Chandon

The "Grand Vintage" Rosé is a Champagne Brut, one of the best known and most prestigious labels in the Moet Chandon line. It is only produced in the Millesimato version, when the chef de cave, Benoit Gouez, selects the cuvée of a famous vintage with great experience and decides to make it sparkling. It comes from a selection of the three typical vines of the area: Pinot Noir in greater percentage, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. 20% of the Pinot Noir is vinified in red and added at a later stage to give it that alluring, luminous salmon-pink color. The refinement is very long and lasts almost 7 years, giving it a perfect expressive maturity and an aromatic endowment of great value. The light sugar dosage of 5 g/l allows it to maintain the freshness necessary to control a soft and velvety structure. The result is a unique and authentic Champagne of great value, which like every "Grand Vintage" leaves its mark and tells in every sip the work and passion of an illustrious maison, which since 1869 has stood out all over the world for its famous bubbles.

• Features: It is distinguished by its pale salmon pink color with persistent bubbles. The perfume exudes notes of biscuits and bread, followed by fruity hints of cherry and plum. Present floral nuances and aromatic herbs. Fresh to the taste, with good concentration and a good finish.
• Advice and pairings: Served very cold, it is ideal to uncork for pleasant aperitifs, pairing it with delicious fish-based finger food.
