The Friulian Doc "Livio Felluga" is the wine of the Friulian tradition par excellence, with a strong personality and typicality. It is a fresh and captivating white, characterized by unmistakable and multiple perfumes in which exotic fruit notes, yellow pepper, tomato leaves, mint, Lantana and Bosso are highlighted.

• tasting: from the color full yellow with fascinating golden and green reflections, the perfume is elegant, intense , captivating. The varietal expression of citrus fruits, tomato leaf and almond is embellished with fruity notes of spine grapes, apricot, kiwis and yellow fishing with floral references of lemon flowers, jasmine, ancient pink and citrus of bergamot and cedar zest. Its taste is enveloping, complex, lively.
• combinations: a traditional wine as an aperitif, it combines perfectly with raw ham, salami and Safe in general. Fish dishes, fresh and fat cheeses are also pleasant

Livio Felluga history

it is easy to guess how the story of Livio Felluga and its wine is intertwined with the history of that particular land that It surrounds the extreme North East of the Adriatic, the point of contact between the Mediterranean and central Europe. History of boundaries changed several times, disappeared empires, past wars . of people who stopped here. It is the story of a man who has gone through two world wars, lived in the Austro -Hungarian Empire first and in the young kingdom of Italy then, he lived on the rocky coast of the Istrian peninsula and in the lagoon degree. Livio Felluga moved to Friuli at the end of the 1930s, to settle on the sweet buttresses of the hills of Rosazzo. His dream of producing hill wine was interrupted by the call to the front. As if that were not enough, the return to Italy was not easy for the veterans of the Second World War: the physical, political and ethnic boundaries had changed, distorted forever, as the same agricultural and social landscape of the hill. The peasant population was leaving, further imposing the earth and abandoning crops, values and traditions linked to it. Livio Felluga had to undertake a new battle to resurrect the hill, convinced that only the rebirth of quality cultivation could bring life back to the Friulian countryside. With great courage he began to restore the ancient vineyards of Rosazzo and implant new ones, introducing innovative ideas and methods. A hard work, undertaken with great stubbornness and passion that will lead him over the years to create one of the most beautiful and significant corporate realities of the Belpaese, acquiring the title of re -founder of the Friulian winemaking tradition and reference actor of the Italian winemaker .
