Montefalco Rosso Bio by Antonelli is a red wine produced with Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano grapes in the municipality of Montefalco in the province of Perugia.

  • Harvest: The harvest of Montefalco Rosso grapes begins in September with Sangiovese and ends in October with Sagrantino and Montepulciano. After a careful selection of the bunches and a soft pressing - destemming, fermentation takes place on the skins at a temperature of 28 degrees. This is followed by aging in oak barrels for 12 months and in bottles for 6 months.
  • Characteristics: It is a ruby red wine, the nose has an intense aroma of woods; on the other hand it is dry, balanced and with a good structure on the palate.

GRAPES: Sangiovese 70%; typical grape of Montefalco 15%; 15% other red berried vines from central Italy.
