To hang in the pantry, as it once was. Ready to use: uncork and pour over pasta! Our Casareccia alla Ricotta sauce has a soft and delicate taste. Slowly cooked in a pot, with a base of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, onion and carrot, then the good pulp of “Roma” type tomatoes and the round taste of cow's milk ricotta. Last touch, a few parsley leaves and a pinch of salt. Just what you do at home. A light sauté of onion and carrot and an addition of parsley. Ready to use: uncork and pour into a pan, over the al dente drained pasta; skip for a minute on high heat. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, grated cheese and serve. Ideal for seasoning pizza.
Curiosity: "scante" in the Salento dialect means "burning", to indicate the ricotta and its strong, decisive flavour.

STORAGE METHOD: Cool and dry place. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and treat as a fresh product.
