The tuna ventresca in olive oil is made up of soft and tasty slices of the best Mediterranean tuna; the best taste is obtained from fish caught in temperate waters and in spring, at the beginning of migratory activity, because the meat is slightly fatter and the muscles are compact but still soft. Ventresca is the most prized part of the tuna and is obtained from the fattest part of the fish, the one that surrounds the abdominal cavity (the belly), where the meat is softer and tastier. A product that can be used in a thousand ways, from salads to tasty second courses.
