Derived from the external part of the chest, including the rind, our Lardo di Cinta Senese is salted with pepper and coarse salt for 90 days. With a creamy consistency, it has a smooth taste and a milky white color with rare lean streaks.

RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: The lard of Cinta Senese is an extremely versatile component in the kitchen, excellent for any occasion both alone and combined with dishes to enhance their flavour. It is an absolute protagonist of the typical cold cuts platter characteristic of our lands, in this case we recommend consuming it on slices of toasted hot bread, sliced very thin. Also excellent for the preparation of meat dishes, game, placed in slices on a cut of Chianina beef, to flavor roasts but also fish dishes.
