Rosso Monferrato DOC Mompertone Prunotto

Mompertone comes from vineyards in the Monferrato area, resting on a calcareous, clayey soil, with widespread sandy veins, capable of giving the wine an enveloping taste, characterized by soft and elegant tannins.

• Characteristics: it has a deep ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is full of fruity sensations: notes of plum and cherry are combined with hints of violet, spices and coffee. It is enveloping on the palate, rich in soft, elegant and persistent tannins.
• Pairings: a wine for the whole meal, it goes well with roast meat, boiled meats and not too mature cheeses.

ORIGIN: Piedmont.

GRAPES: Barbera 60%, Syrah 40%.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°/20°.
