The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is among the oldest in the world. The adjective "Nobile" is therefore particularly similar to the character of this wine, a synthesis of Ruffino's production style. the alcoholic fermentation lasts for almost two weeks at a controlled temperature of 28°C in steel vats, with pumping over and punching down. A further maceration on the skins follows, for another 10 days.
Pleasant notes of plum and blackberry among more serious sensations such as leather, fruit in alcohol, and a captivating mossy finish.
